A 48 year old man from Tadley is on trial today at Winchester Crown Court, accused of murdering his ex-wife.
Stephen Lay has been accused of murdering 48 year old Carol Reeves from Basingstoke in May last year. Suspicion arouse after a blood stained shirt was found in his possession and scratch marks had appeared on his face.
The prosecution alleged that the murder took place after the couple had spent the day together.
Mr Lay denies all allegations as the trial continues.
